While some animals adapt well to life alongside humans, others have complex needs that make them unsuitable for captivity. Exotic pets may seem appealing because of their unusual appearance or behavior, but many require specialized care that the average owner cannot easily provide.

In many cases, keeping these animals as pets can create challenges for both the owner and the animal. Understanding their needs is essential before considering any non traditional pet.
