Water Turtle Throws Its Own Pool Party With an Inflatable Ring

JakeJune 29, 2026June 29, 2026

A water turtle from the Chinese city of Jining is winning hearts online after transforming its aquarium into what looks like a personal floating paradise. Instead of simply swimming around its tank, the clever reptile has figured out how to drift peacefully on an inflatable ring, creating a scene that looks more like a vacation resort than a turtle habitat.

The laid-back turtle appears completely at ease as it floats around its tank on a small inflatable ring. Watching the reptile drift effortlessly through the water, it’s hard not to imagine it’s enjoying a relaxing day at the pool.

An Unusual Floating Position

What makes the sight even more remarkable is the turtle’s posture. The reptile often lounges upside down while floating, a position that isn’t commonly seen in turtles and adds to the amusing spectacle.

Rather than treating the inflatable ring as just another object in its tank, the turtle seems to have embraced it as part of its daily routine. The tiny float transforms the aquarium into a miniature water park designed specifically for one very relaxed resident.

According to the turtle’s owner, no one trained the animal to use the inflatable ring. The turtle reportedly figured out the behavior entirely on its own, making its floating adventures even more impressive.
